In fact, nothing better explains this progression than the book, ‘Gateway’ which is one of my humble efforts at vindicating this complex process. I penned down my impressions about people and places in Mumbai and sketched images of the complexities and contemporary trends of urban life. I do not recollect what came first- whether painting impressions or words but then, none of them was meant to precede the other. It had to be a mixed process switching between words and lines to be able to best express myself as livid contemporary abstract artists do. Writing, drawing, contemporary art paintings, modern art paintings, modern abstract art and painting on canvas are passions closest to my heart hat leads to the niche community of contemporary abstract artists, modern abstract paintings and contemporary art paintings.
My finite creative thoughts begin to unfold and fill the emptiness’ in front and my painting impressions start taking shape of my imagination. The end result is the outcome of this complex process of my art – whether painting on canvas, drawing on paper, modern approach to visual forms that makes contemporary art paintings and categorises my work under modern abstract art or contemporary abstract artists.
Cacophony Mumbai is the shrillest cit in the country. There is no point of time or location where u will feel calm and quite. even if you are staying away from main roads, railway stations or industrials units, there is so much of noise created by people living in housing society –screeching, screaming, shouting, noises of members adding to the sound bytes from TV radio, music systems fans geysers and ACs that even if you want to have some peace you can get it due to such high decibel of sound surrounding you
